I'd never tried B&B before and I didn't know what to expect. I was so surprised and delighted with every aspect of my stay with Jim and Lorraine. I don't think I'll be going back to Hotel/Motels again!! EXCELLENT!!

We so enjoyed our stay at Beachside B n B. The accommodation was top-notch, classy and comfortable. And the full cooked breakfast with homemade bread, and all the trimmings was accompanied by bottomless cups of coffee made to order. We thoroughly enjoyed our month of vacation in New Zealand. We stayed at 14 different bed and breakfasts all over the north and south islands. All the hosts were very hospitable. We decided when we returned to Canada, that we would send emails to those hosts that were the very best. We rated the accommodations, the hospitality, the breakfasts, value for price and the location. You were one of the places we stayed that received a perfect score.

We want to thank you for making our vacation truly memorable. "Arrive as a stranger and leave as a friend" is very appropriate. We wish we could have spent more time with you. If you ever come to Canada, you can find us in St Albert, Alberta. We'd love to visit with you again.

Very friendly relaxed atmosphere, the room was very clean and immaculately set out, all our needs were attended to graciously and Jim and Lorraine were more than accommodating of our 2 preschool children. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. We had a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend to anyone.

14th Nov 09. I can't begin to tell you how great the hospitality was at Jim & Lorraines B&B. Waking up to the smell of fresh baked bread was just great. Jim & Lorraine are the best hosts. Easy access to the beach, cafes,highways. Stu & Peggy, USA

10 Nov 2009 We arrived at Beachside bed & breakfast after a long scenic drive from Auckland through Coromandel, we arrived much later than we expected and the sweet couple that owns the house, Jim & Lorraine were waiting for us with hot chocolate and a cozy room to sleep. We are very happy with our choice to stay here, we stayed for two nights. Its like staying at a family member�s home with your own private room and bathroom. We have beautiful views of the ocean and very friendly people to chat with. Great breakfast, great place to stay! They were very friendly and very helpful. Jessica & James, Omaha

5 May 2009 My wife and I have recently returned from a two night stay with Jim and Lorraine at Beachside Bed & Beakfast. This large house is the middle of three on a sub divided section (plot) on the sea side of the coastal road and therefore is just one house back from the ocean. The top floor, comprising the guest lounge and breakfast room has lovely views. The bedrooms below are modern, clean and well maintained. Breakfast is freshly prepared, extensive and delicious and we were made most welcome by this most pleasant husband and wife team who are experienced hoteliers. The seaside area is beautiful, with the walk around or up the Mount itself a clear highlight. There are many miles of excellent beaches here, with surfing or bathing dependent upon conditions. However, the location of this property, along the bay from the central district, is such that visitors would need to use the car to get to the downtown and Mount itself - not a problem as it can be noisy there.
